AdCell Media Releases Mobile Ad-Insertion Technology version 3.0
Cell Phone Advertising Just Got a Whole Lot Easier
San Jose, CA (July 6, 2006) – Another mobile advertising industry first from AdCell Media, the first company to deliver ads into mobile content back in 2004. AdCell Media announced today the release of its third generation Mobile Ad-Insertion Technology. This includes the client side Ad-In SDK 3.0 and the Internet/WAP side Ad-In Server 3.0
"Mobile Advertising is just starting in a big way. AdCell Media is pleased to be in the forefront with superior and proven mobile ad insertion technology. Advertisers can now launch a targeted ad campaign to cell phone consumers that carefully match their message to their targeted consumer using appropriate content and sophisticated in-context ads." says David Fradin, President of AdCell Media. "We are pretty excited about the new capabilities of release 3.0 of our Ad-In SDK. It refines the quality and types of ads available. It automatically re-sizes ads for a wide variety of phone display resolutions. And it operates with both J2ME and BREW cell phone operating systems"
The overall objective of AdCell's Mobile Ad-Insertion Technology is to make it fast, simple, and easy for advertisers, developers, publishers, and carriers to deliver ad-supported mobile content to consumers. Release 3.0 meets that objective. For example, a content developer can put the Ad-In-SDKä in their game, application, or video in less than one day. And start earning advertising revenue. Advertisers will have a choice of ad-enabled content from a rapidly growing AdCell Media "Fun & Games" Catalog. An advertiser or their ad agency will typically be able to launch a targeted ad campaign in less than 30 days from inception. Prior to this release, such a fast turn around for both developers and advertisers was not possible.
Other companies can put ads at the beginning or end of a game or applications, but only the Ad-In SDK makes it fast and easy to insert ads in appropriate place throughout the content. Advertisers love the greater effectiveness of these "product placement" ads.
The first mobile game to use this technology was Maui Mountain Biking from MauiGames Studio back in 2004. Then we were limited to four general types of ads versus ten today and only J2ME based phones then versus J2ME and BREW phones today. The advertisers in Maui Mountain Biking were K2 Bikes, Saucony Shoes, and Zeal Optics. This fun game is still available and has a growing following of game players. It can be downloaded at www.mauigames.us/mmb
Later this summer several developers, publishers and carriers will be releasing mobile content utilizing AdCell Media's third generation Mobile Ad-Insertion Technology,
For example:
Amp'd Mobile will be releasing a family of fitness exercise videos. MauiGames will be releasing a golf game featuring the actual layouts of several golf courses. The advertisers are Kaanapali Golf Course, Maui Visitors Bureau.
